The Association of Chief Childrens's Nurses

Constitution

A group of senior childrens nurse leaders has been established in the United Kingdom and will be known as the Association of Child Health Chief Nurses (ACCN). There is an agreed logo for the ACCN and the Chair and the Secretary will keep printed letterheads

The ACCN exists to:

 Influence child health policy, strategy and nursingProvide expert childrens nursing advice and support to its membersNetwork within and outwith of the representative Trusts / organisationsProvide professional child nursing advice for all those involved in the care of childrenInfluence and promote children's nursingWork with / advise professional bodies (PSB) for example, NMC, Council of Deans and othersProvide a response to proposed government information, professional and inter-agency issues Lobby to raise the profile of health and welfare of childrenACCN members will be available to provide advice, either collectively or individually
